Candice Lewis

RDA/ OFFICE MANAGER

I graduated in June 2004 with an AS degree in Dental Assisting at Chaffey College. I graduated on the Dean list which I’m so proud of. I started my journey here at DFA in October 2008 as a Register Back Office Assistant where I developed an amazing relationship with my patients. I look forward to what the future has to offer in dentistry and the continuing of education. I have three beautiful Girls an amazing and supportive husband, I cherish family and my relationship with God. If I’m not in the office you can find my at the softball field watching my oldest and youngest daughter Jordann and Jenna play travel ball and Rec ball, or in the Gym watching my middle daughter Jaylen do competitive Gymnastics and Cheer. I chose to go into dentistry because I always enjoyed the dentist as a little girl. I also enjoy helping people get their healthy smiles and feeling comfortable with their mouth.

Terri Bennet

RDH/ Back Office Manager

Teri Bennett has been in the dental field for over 25 years. She began as an instrument sterilizer in her orthodontist’s office at the age of 18 and became a dental assistant six months later. She remained working in that office for eight years while attending school for dental hygiene. In August of 1998, she began as one of 24 students accepted to the Cerritos College Dental Hygiene program where clinical studies were conducted at the UCLA School of Dentistry and affiliated clinics in the Los Angeles/Orange County area including two VA facilities in West LA and Long Beach. In May of 2000, she graduated with highest honors, receiving not only recognition as one of four students selected for clinical rotation in the Advanced General Dentistry Clinic at UCLA, but also the prestigious Clinician of the Year Award and Golden Scaler Award presented by Hu-Friedy for the graduating class of 2000. After receiving state board licensure, she began with Dental Faculty Associates in August of 2000 and has been here ever since. She married Sean Bennett in 2003 and cut back to part time after having her son Brayden in 2006. Her daughter Kolbie followed in 2008 and after those valued years of only part time work while her kids were little, she is now back with DFA full time as a hygienist and supervisor for the hygiene team. She enjoys spending her free time keeping score for her son’s travel baseball team and attending meets for her competitive gymnast daughter. If she’s not in the office, it is usually because her children’s sports have them traveling across the country to Arizona, Nevada, Tennessee, Florida and New York! Teri credits Dental Faculty as being her career “home” and where she “grew-up”. She truly loves being a hygienist and the life-long relationships she’s developed with her patients.
